Our LED Facials can be tailored to your Skin Concerns. LED lights are particularly useful for targeting signs of Ageing, Ccne and healing Scars. Although this is a wonderful and effective treatment on its own, we often use LED Facials alongside peels and home-care in order to tackle specific skin concerns.
LED uses light waves to improve cellular health and in doing so, promotes Wound Healing and reduces signs of Ageing, Acne and Scarring. Our Celluma LED is our favourite tool for calming the Skin down. It comes with no downtime and no discomfort.

FAQs
We use LED therapy technology developed by Celluma at VSP Clinic. LED therapy helps compromised cells to regenerate by emitting light at different wavelengths. LED therapy increases the production of collagen and elastin, increases blood circulation, and decreases inflammation. It helps tissues to heal naturally from the inside out.
There is little to no sensation during this treatment. You may feel a slight warmth. You may see some light through the goggles, which is normal.
Each person reacts differently to this Treatment. Celluma provides us with the following advice guidelines:
Acne:
- Minimum of three times a week for 12 weeks for grade 4/5 Acne
- Minimum of twice a week for 5 weeks if using skin care.
- Once a week for 6 weeks, then once a month for maintenance with home care and dietary changes.
Age:
- Three times a week for 4 weeks once a month maintenance. Twice a week for 4 weeks with home care.
- Twice a week for 4 weeks with skincare and in-clinic treatments.
Pain:
- Twice a week until desired result achieved.
Wound healing:
Three times a week for up to several weeks.
However, during your Consultation, once we have a better idea of your specific concerns, exact skin type, lifestyle, nutritional habits and medical history we will establish a Treatment Programme tailored to you. After your Consultation, we will be able to better advise you on the number of sessions you might need and at what intervals.
We often recommend mixed modality treatments, which are always supported by at-home treatments.
We always recommend home treatments together with lifestyle and nutritional adjustments to support all treatments in-clinic.
